Vol. 20, Issue 3,
March/marzo 2026
This month's March cover features features "Rosie the Riveter" in honor of Women's History Month and the iconic symbolism that women took during World War II, which has remained. (Please read a Word from the Publisher for more explanation) I think it is iconic in our culture, as well as a tradition that many of our generations have enjoyed. Somehow, the women depict their individuality, and yet the sisterhood of existing. Significantly, women can balance career and motherhood.
Also, during this month, we celebrate the countless women who have fought tirelessly and courageously for equality, justice, and opportunity in our nation. Together We Are America was also a phrase used by Bad Bunny during the Big Game. Because women play a role in reaching that message, I thought it fitting to include our abuelas, mothers, tias, primas, and hermanas/sisters among those women. Happy Women's History Month!
Once again, I included the number 20 to symbolize the number of years we have served our community. Here's to 20 more years!
Latino Lubbock Magazine's March issue also includes health info, business info, memorials, info for youth, and so much more - you don't want to miss it!
